Speaking and smoothies
My passion is to share knowledge about food with parents and children.
So often I see parents struggling to feed their family nutritious food, relying on packets for convenience they know their kids with eat.
Many of us say we’re too busy to think about food, that meals are an afterthought, or that healthy eating feels confusing and overwhelming. We can benefit from an understanding of basic nutrition – how what we eat affects our energy, focus and mood and how we turn up every single day.
During my parent webinars to corporates or in-person parent sessions at schools I speak about navigating today's food culture dominated by packets, offer practical tools to help families to nourish ourselves and pack a lunchbox for learning for their kids for school.
Emerging research continues to link high consumption of ultra-processed foods with increased risk of chronic disease, cardiovascular conditions and poorer mental health outcomes.
Nutrition is the foundation for our wellbeing. When we're under-fuelled, over-caffeinated and relying on ultra-processed convenience foods, we're not feeling as well as we could - our body is not saying yay!
Here’s a little more about me...
I'm a health and wellbeing educator, corporate wellness specialist and mum of two, who is passionate about making eating whole food simple, practical and achievable for busy, modern families.
With more than 12 years working in corporate employee health and wellbeing, I've seen first-hand how time-poor parents are overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice and the increasing impact of processed food on families.
I founded body says yay! to share the lack of transparency in our food system and to empower parents with clear, evidence-informed guidance they can actually use. My mission is to help families move from confused to confident – supporting better energy, mood, learning and long-term health without adding more stress.
With an Advanced Certificate in Nutrition Science from the Australian College of Natural Therapies in Sydney – I partner with corporate organisations and school communities to deliver engaging parent webinars, student workshops and wellbeing sessions, empowering over 3,000 students and 1,000s of corporate parents. Through these sessions, I translate nutrition science into realistic strategies that fit into busy work and family life.
As a Certified Instructor with The Root Cause, I deliver the “Making Friends with Food” program and “Mad Food Science” incursion in schools across Sydney and surrounding areas. These programs educate students about how food affects their bodies, behaviour and ability to learn, while also supporting teachers and parents to create healthier school environments.
My work bridges the gap between home, school and the workplace – helping communities build confident, informed and empowered relationships with real food.
I'm dedicated to educating children, empowering parents, and raising awareness about the impact of processed foods on health, behaviour, and the environment.
